I am so late in blogging beautiful Adrea’s senior session from last fall, but I just have to share these images because this girl is near and dear to my heart!
The first thing I always think of when I think of Adrea is swimming, so it was only natural she’s want a little water in her senior pics!
She’s been swimming since she was 11, and her favorite stroke is the backstroke. But it didn’t used to be that way! In fact, when Adrea first started swimming, she was terrified of the backstroke — because she couldn’t see where she was going! She avoided it at all costs, until one day her coach put her in for the backstroke during a meet. It was then she realized the backstroke wasn’t as bad as she thought, and now, of course, she loves it. (I think there’s a little life-and-faith lesson for me in there somewhere as well!)
Adrea’s plans for this year include taking a short terms mission trip as well as getting more involved with Royal Family KIDS, a life-changing camp for Colorado’s foster children. Adrea’s sweet spirit and love for people will no doubt touch these children’s lives and make a lasting impact. They are so blessed to have her!
One of the truly special things about Adrea is her love for her family. Adrea says the thing she loves most about them is that they are all so unique‚ and how beautifully that uniqueness allows them to balance each other out. Adrea is actually the third sister I’ve photographed in this family. You can see her sister Emmye’s senior session here, and Lea’s senior session was my very first blog post ever!
Thank you, sweet Adrea, for trusting me to take your senior portraits! God is weaving such a beautiful story with your life and I’m so excited to see what this year holds!
